Update Galaxy Note 3 N900 To Android 7.1.1 HLTE Nougat Custom ROM


Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900 has more options to choose when it comes on custom ROM. The device is now presented with fully strong custom ROM namely HLTE that comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. If you are interested then let me invite you to follow the entire steps to flash HLTE based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat ROM. And of course this is not a stock ROM released by Samsung and flashing the ROM you need a custom recovery such as TWRP.

But keep in mind that flashing this kind of custom ROM will nullify your device’s warranty and there is a chance you might brick your phone.

You are recommended to firstly make backups over your phone’s data. Because with backup you can restore if things go bad.

Important notes guys.

  • The guides here only for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900.
  • You need to firstly unlock your bootloader on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900.
  • Be sure to make backups first.
  • Be sure that your device is powered with CWM or TWRP, this post uses TWRP recovery; the how to install TWRP on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900.
  • Be sure that you firstly enable USB debugging mode on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900 phone.

Now download the following files to your computer.

Download HLTE Android 7.1.1 Nougat ROM zip file
  • Download HLTE Android 7.1.1 Nougat and download Gapps for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900.

How to install Android 7.1.1 Nougat on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900 with HLTE

Perform the guides and all the possible risks are your to take my friends.

  1. Now connect your device to computer using a USB cable and then transfer all the zip files (HLTE Android 7.1.1 Nougat zip files) you downloaded earlier to PC to your SD card.
  2. Now power off your device then unplug it from USB cable.
  3. Now enter to the Recovery Mode / TWRP mode.
  4. Inside the TWRP mode, perform the following action full data wipe by choosing the Wipe button -> Swipe to Factory Reset button.

  5. Now back to the TWRP main menu then you need to tap the Install button. And then choose the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS ROM zip file you previously transferred to your device’s storage on step 2.

  6. Now confirm the installation by simply swiping the Swipe to Confirm Flash option. You will see the installation will begin.

  7. Once the installation has been completed then repeat the above action to flash the Gapps.

  8. Now you need to tap Wipe cache/dalvik button in case you experience bootloop or other technical problem.
  9. Now you need to tap the Reboot System button.
